About the role

We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer with financial industry experience to join one of our client teams in Helsinki. What you'll do

•Build and maintain data pipelines using Databricks for processing business-critical data
•Design real-time streaming architectures with Apache Kafka for trading data and risk calculations
•Work with tools technologies such as Fabric, Snowflake, Terraform, Data Factory + others
•Set up monitoring and alerting for critical data flows
•Collaborate with end-users to understand their needs and build solutions that actually work for them

What we're looking for

•Several years of experience building business-critical data systems
•Solid experience with the Databricks platform and Apache Spark
•Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming
•Experience working in the financial industry
•You read & write quality Python

Nice to have

•Knowledge of Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration
•Familiarity with dbt for data transformation
•Experience with containerization and Kubernetes
